Hello friends! Welcome to our first devlog!

Firstly let me introduce us. We are TomAda Games, a very small indie game studio made of just 2 people: Tom, self thought programmer and sound designer and Ada, hobbyist illustrator and animator.  We have embarked on the game development journey only a year ago and Bauer is our first project. We had to learn a lot of things as none of us is coming from a game development background and this is all very new to both of us. We are absolutely in love with this and  we are still learning every single day. You can find out more about us on our website: www.tomadagames.com

But let's go back to Bauer. The idea for this game was to create something fun to play, suitable for all ages. The game has 3 game modes to choose from: Easy if you want to relax and cruise slower, Normal for those who like a faster pace, and Challenging for the brave amongst us. The demo only has the Normal mode. There is no violence in the game and it is very easy to master. This was designed specifically so that everyone in the family can join and try to break the highest score.

Everything in the game was illustrated and animated by hand. This gives the game a cartoony style to go hand in hand with the general idea of a family friendly experience. This, alongside all of the code and the majority of the sounds, was done by us. The music was written by Studio Le Bus and purchased via www.premiumbeats.com.  We used Unity to put all of these ingredients together and make a game. 

We are currently still working on the last details of this game. We will release the full game on 31 of March 2022 and it will be free to play!

But until then we are so happy to be able to share Bauer's Demo with you! At the moment it is only available for Windows but we are planning to release the game for Mac and Linux too in the future.
